Gosh I love stuff like this. Lists are the best. Seriously. I know I might sound like I'm trying to make my life more awesome than it really is, but I'm totally not. I'm happy making a list for my day, then running back and forth to the computer checking off things I've gotten done. It pleases me. One thing I for sure need to do before I close up my evening is take a walk. By myself. I love walks with others so much, but by myself there is no pressure to talk about anything, and I think I need that today. Especially in this breeze. Just to take it in. Then, of course, come home and blab all about it to someone, but still. :) Tonight is Taco night. Can we say "Weehoo"? Never before have I enjoyed being in the kitchen as much as I do now that I'm married. I love that Eric loves my cooking, as simple as it may be. He's ALWAYS complimenting it. And I may not use a complex recipe or grab the right utensil, but he never corrects, and never complains. Heck, he even ate the Hamburger Helper I made without milk. Can you get a better husband than that? :)
Anyway, back to the list <3 Also, I got this great news today. The University of Phoenix doesn't start until the 19th, as far as I can tell, so I can still go to school. I'm pumped, & guess what. They were ACTUALLY helpful. Whereas SPC was craptastic when it came to administration, this place is willing to meet with me and yadayada. I almost started crying after getting off the phone with Deb, a woman in administration. She talked to me about how some financial aid loan type things make you wait 30 weeks to transfer. I will kick somebody's you-know-what if I have to wait that long to transfer over to River Falls. I want this so flippin bad. I just need to stop giving up. Jesus was not a quitter, and I will not be either. -closes eyes and hopes this is true- |
